With the fringe hair trend in 2008-2009 there are three main ways you can wear it.
1. The Kate – that’s what we’ve dubbed Kate Moss’ fringe as she’s wearing it in quite a unique way – fairly long. And for Kate it’s a signature part of the look.
2. The Pixie – the fringe that takes the most fashionable to pull off, ultra short and quite boyish the pixie fringe really sits as a very significant part of the 2008 and 2009 cropped hairstyle but is an element you can easily borrow.
3. The Blunt Fringe – the style that is the perfect choice. Cut thick by bringing in hair from near either temple, the thick, blunt cut fringe remains the most fashionable way to wear this hair trend.
One of the easiest and most obvious ways to update or change your look is changing your hair color.Rich reds, Soft blondes, and striking brunettes are great place to start.
Brunette
Purple, harsh black, and stripy highlights are gone from the scene. And this season’s colors are all natural and true to life. For the perfect brunette, get subtle golden highlights painted on top of a light but warm brunette base. To add depth, a slighly darker color at the underlayers and roots will do the trick.
Blonde
The “new” blonde is always matched with lowlights. One of the most fashinable blondes in fall winter 2008-2009 is an expensive look with natural finish, by weaving different shades of blonde, from mink, sable and vanilla through the hair.
Red
From strawberry blonde and burgundy to copper brown and auburn will be among the most wanted shades in 2008-2009 fall winter.
Michelle Williams was one star who took the daring move from long hair to pixie crop. This short style gives her a very innocent appeal and makes her eyes stand out.
Natalie Portman was another celebrity who has sported a shorter look in the past. And the short crop suited her heart shaped face very well.
